Differential Diagnosis of Viral Exanthemas
نویسنده
چکیده
This article describes the differential diagnosis of maculopapular rashes, which can be divided into three large groups: classic rashes, nonspecific rashes and paraviral eruptions, the last two of which can be grouped together as atypical rashes. The differential diagnosis of maculopapular rash depends on the setting and the percentage of the population vaccinated. The diagnosis is broad and includes infectious processes and other etiologies. A correct diagnostic orientation requires the availability of the relevant epidemiological data which will aid the suspicion of a specific etiology.
